From the Principal…...
- Cross Country Championship:
It was a great turnout from both the parents and supporters to view the Primary School Annual Cross Country Championships. Well done to all our students who ran the course. Certificates will be awarded and presented in assembly.A number of Yr 5 and 6 candidates will be representing Wentworth Primary at the Inter-school Cross Country on September 8 at Wenderholm, the team will be finalised early next week.
We also wish to thank the prefects for acting as race officials. - School Pantomine:
Please diarise the school production of Sleeping Beauty which will be held on Tuesday, 13 September. This show is part of a drama festival, as the College have their production of “The Importance of Being Earnest to be held on Thursday and Friday, 15th and 16th of September.“Sleeping Beauty” rehearsals are going well and we are looking forward to a wonderful production.
- School Open Days:
Tomorrow and Wednesday are our Open Days. Your assistance in helping promote the school greatly appreciated ; we look forward to a good number of people touring the school throughout the day.

School Disco:
The Annual World Vision Sponsorship School Disco takes place this Friday evening on 2 September. The Super Hero dancing kicks off at 6.30pm until 8.00pm. This will be our final fund raiser for the year. It will be a fun filled evening, with plenty of dancing, games and raffles, bring your Super Hero dancing shoes and money.
