Wentworth Primary School opened its doors to students on 4 February 2008. Small class sizes, expert teaching and formative assessment programmes enable Wentworth Primary to offer a standard of individualised learning unrivalled in the Auckland region. |

At Wentworth Primary School we aspire to the following school vision:
When our students leave Wentworth Primary at the end of Year 6 they will be self-confident and happy individuals who relate to others positively and with respect. They will have achieved their personal best within the curriculum and exceeded age-appropriate expectations in Literacy and Numeracy. They will have been given opportunities to explore, discover and develop their personal talents and interests.
The vision statement can also be summarised in the following goals:
- Our students will have high standards of achievement in Literacy and Numeracy
- Our students will be self-confident, happy, well-rounded individuals
- We will explore and provide ways to help students find & develop their personal talents and interests
- We will ensure students are well-skilled in the Key Competency of Relating to Others (social skills, respect for others)
- We will engage all students in learning programmes which cover the full NZ Curriculum, so that they can achieve their personal best.
